Interesting, isn't it? ...And what's so special about this kind of 'pill'--RED HEARTS, as a surprise antidote for the month of 'CUPID'!
Tonight's Wednesday, February 1st...and ol' Febbie runs right in. For this monthly intro, here are just a few of the many events taking place this month as a timeline:
- Hug a 'Black' Brotha [or a Sista] these next 29 days [Black History Month]
- Spot a Groundhog and trap it for dinner [Groundhog Day is Tomorrow, this Thursday, 2/2]
- Say 'good luck and may the best pigskin win' at the 'Bowl [Super Bowl XLVI, this Sunday, 2/5]]
- Avoid the hearts, flowers, jewelry, and chocolates--and former love crushes that Cupid recommends [Valentine's Day, one week from Tuesday, 2/14]
- Venerate your Founding Fathers [Presidents Day, two weeks from Monday, 2/20]
- Catch a neck-ful of purple, gold, and green beads [Mardi Gras, that next day, two weeks from Tuesday, 2/21] and go on a 'Lent' diet thereafter [Ash Wednesday, three weeks from tonight, 2/22]
- Oh yeah...and since this is the shortest of the 12 months, learn how to 'leap' [Leap Year Day is the last day of this month, Wednesday, 2/29]
...And what's next on your list? Lighting the candles with
- NBA star/current divorcee, Kris Humphries [27th Birthday this Tuesday, 2/7]
- Spoiled little celebutante/heiress, Paris Hilton [31st Birthday two weeks from Friday, 2/17]
- And soap star, Antonio Sabato Jr. [he makes it to the big '4-0' on Leap Year Day, Wednesday, 2/29]
Lastly, talk to an Aquarian [Fri. 1/20 to Sat. 2/18] about this horoscopic ambition:
"...Play around and have fun with the red hearts and chocolates; however, don't forget to continue to make life better for the little guys and gals with new ideas..."
As for me, your Houseboy is slowly dissecting this blog 'till its end--this month, I'll be including some closing thoughts, rants, and ideas--all leading up to the post #400 and the 5th anniversary of this blog. I'm still thinking about some new directions I may take...but enjoy ol' Febbie for now--FOR A HOUSEBOY.
Sleep tight!
