It's All About The '12'--Rev Him Up Already...

...Now, I know that 12 of anything makes a dozen, and I have driven on I-12 a while back in Louisiana, but there's a certain Mister #12 that's ready to go--calendar-wise!

Happy New Year's Day, Houseboy fans...tonight is Sunday night, the 1st of January--the first day of 2012! Did y'all have fun with the fireworks and the champagne last night? I sure did. BTW, now that this Holiday season is behind us, it's time to turn our focus to '012! It's an election year (Presidential elections), a 'leap' year (having 29 days instead of the proverbial 28 days), and a (summer) olympic year. Remember MLK as always [MLK Day, two weeks from Monday, 1/16], and send the kiddies back to school in the cold on Tuesday [Start the second half of the school year with them, 1/3].

This month send birthday wishes to:

• Cuba Gooding Jr. for his 44th, tomorrow [Monday, 1/2]
  
• Diane Keaton, who doesn't look a day older at 2/3rds of a century old [Thursday, 1/5 she will be 66]
  
• Nicole Eggert, (from Charles In Charge and Baywatch) as she hits the big "4-0" [Next Friday, 1/13]
  
• ...and, The Dark Knight himself, Christian Bale as he turns 38 towards the end [Monday, 1/30]
  

Next up, where are all my Alpha-Capricorns at? (Thu. 12/22 to Thu 1/19) If you're still a mess from last year, then heed this horoscope:

"Be reserved; however, unconditionally show love to your fellow colleagues after a weekend of champagne to drink away the scars of yester-year, then clean yourself up and develop the will to work hard at your comraderie as year #12 awaits you."

1. *IMPORTANT* Prepare yourself to vote out the worst politicians and president this election year, if they keep on refusing to work with you to secure your rights.
   
2. Shape up, fix whatever is broken, and prepare to help put this broken country back together.
   
3. Still deal with the 15 trillion debt in your minds and understand its consequence on account of greed, corruption, and sleaze.
   
4. Lay off the dating/PUA/marriage scenes as always--it's too painfully expensive!
   
5. Plan road/day/field trips often to unwind from your own everyday miseries.
   
6. And...with me, consider a 'womanless' diet to spare yourself from the heartache, rejection, and the price of encountering with a post-/feminist woman.
