Years ago, my girlfriend tried to get me to sit down to pee. She claimed that the bathroom got gradually smelly from all the accumulated urine that seeped into the floor from the splashback of my peeing in the toilet. And my bad aim. Also there was the " toilet seat up" whining. I pretended to agree-and-obey, just to keep the peace. A month later, we're out with friends for drinks, and she casually mentioned to her girlfriend, right in front of God and everyone, how she trained me to sit when I pee; like I'm a fucking naughty puppy that she paper trained. My friends smirked at me like I'd been neutered, when I casually took a drink of beer; stared up to the ceiling with a world weary, exasperated sigh; and said "No, honey, I was tired of your nonsense; now I just piss in the sink". Everybody laughed so hard they almost choked. On the way home, I said " If I hear tell that you said one thing about our personal life to another soul, you're gone". She never did. I still piss in the sink. Saves on the water bill.
