Good morning, Houseboy fans! What happens when you turn on the radio, MTV/VH1/BET, or the ol' YouTube [or even worse--World Star Hip Hop], and you hear a song such as this?



You get an anti-male, girl-power anthem. Of course, there's a ton of 'em that get regular airplay and of course...award nominations. Regardless if the themes are about infidelity, domestic violence, douchebaggery, and foolishness--anything that describes the oafish, nefarious, and sometimes sociopathic character of any man will sell records! That's right--creating musical and lyrical misandry just to make a quick buck!

This kind of thing has been going on since the latter half of the 20th century, and I can tell you--this type of egotistical creativity can turn around and hurt them in the end. The only anecdote and cure for it is to listen to indie, underground, and extreme music like I do.
